Celotex, an SME based in Suffolk, have been manufacturing insulation products for over 85 years. Employing over 140 staff and with a turnover of £40 million, Celotex have achieved a strong market position as one of the two largest manufacturers of this product set in the UK.
To establish a competitive advantage, Celotex have invested in new technologies and invaluable IT systems. With ambitious plans to increase production capacity, a recent Capital Investment Program has given them the capability to double their volumes.
Operating on an Oracle Database with their entire applications suite built using Oracle, Celotex needed to rely on highly available systems to keep their business running.
