Building on its November 2007 preview, Oracle today previewed additional planned feature enhancements of Oracle® Fusion Middleware 11g.
Based on feedback resulting from close cooperation with customers testing in real-world environments, the latest preview of Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g includes planned features intended to provide Java developers with a unified design and development experience based on new open standards for Java, SOA, AJAX, Web 2.0 and Security and to help reduce the time, effort and cost of developing Rich Enterprise, Web and mobile applications.
Additionally, the preview showcases planned performance and manageability improvements, as well as tighter integration between various Oracle Fusion Middleware components.
Enhancements and new capabilities in this preview span the Oracle Fusion Middleware product family and include:
- Oracle SOA Suite -- new capabilities for Complex Event Processing and Business Activity Monitoring;
- Oracle WebCenter Suite -- enhanced Enterprise 2.0 and social computing capabilities;
- Oracle JDeveloper and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) -- using AJAX with support for Java Script 1.6, 1.7. and 1.8; JavaServer Faces 1.2; and other Web 2.0 technologies, to help provide exceptional productivity for developers.
