Oracle Database Vault Integrates with Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g
Oracle Database Vault is now integrated with the newly introduced Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Release 5, Oracle announced today.
This integration helps organisations increase database security administrator (DSA) productivity and reduce the on-going costs of IT compliance through greater automation.
Highlights of New Oracle Database Vault Management Capabilities
New management capabilities for Oracle Database Vault include:
- Centralised administration and monitoring of all Oracle Database Vault protected servers via a single management console;
- Automated cloning of Oracle Database Vault security policies across multiple database servers to help ensure consistent policies enterprise-wide; and,
- Automated alerts when unauthorised attempts are made to access Oracle Database Vault protected databases.
