Teamsolve are a leading provider of Managed Services in Oracle Database, Applications and Middleware technologies and Microsoft SQL server, with a growing global client. Teamsolve are currently looking to recruit a Delivery Manager for Managed Services, reporting to the Practice Manager.
This position requires you to manage day to day operational delivery of service with responsibility for many diverse environments, through a diverse and well experienced support team. You will take responsibility for ensuring that the team meet the SLA's and OLA's against service contracts. Duties of the role will involve on-site visits with diverse clients around the UK. You must be prepared to be part of our on-call team with flexibility to supervise planned out-of-hours work where required. In addition, you must be CRB cleared, or expect to be cleared upon a new application. This position will be based from our Head Office in Derby.
To succeed within this role, it is imperative that you have the following attributes:
- Excellent communication skills (Written and Oral) with good attention to detail
- Excellent understanding of core support processes (i.e. ITIL)
- Innate ability to develop strong relationships with customers and partners
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding
- Complete ownership of issues through to resolution
- A drive to improve service through identifying efficiencies and mitigating risk, putting in place what is required to recognise improvements
- Ability to operate successfully in a multi-tasked environment, with periods of pressure
Essential Knowledge and Experience:
- Technical support background with high level understanding of Oracle products
- Service management - Escalation point for all service delivery issues, management of service against scope of contract, SLA management, major incident and service management reporting. Ensuring that systems, processes and methodologies as specified are followed to ensure effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery
- People management - Effective management and mentoring of a skilled and experienced team, as well as management and control of 3rd party suppliers
- Client Management - Management of client relationships including service review meetings; areas covered will include performance reports, service improvements, quality and processes
- Workflow management - Proven experience of managing workload in challenging situations. Analysing workflow activity and making recommendations for increased organisational efficiency and effectiveness
Desirable Knowledge and Experience:
- Experienced Oracle and MS SQL Technology user
- Project management for Internal projects where required
- ITIL Service Management accreditation or demonstrate equivalent experience
- Service transition management including elements of pre-sales where required
- Extensive customer facing skills - experience in managing relationships with large customers (in the context of service delivery)
Desirable Professional Qualifications:
- ITIL Certification
